The will host a free 鈥渂oot camp鈥� training on January 27, 2014 to help prepare potential state charter petitioners for the Spring 2014 charter petition cycle.听This single-day training session, to be held at The Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center, will provide an overview of the state charter petition process and discuss ways in which stakeholders can develop a strong charter petition, specifically focusing on school governance, academic and financial accountability, and community engagement.听Presenters will include SCSC staff, the Georgia Charter Schools Association, and successful state charter petitioners.听Space听is听limited — please RSVP to听Lauren Wright, SCSC Director of Organizational and Resource Development,听404-656-2822.听
