The Walton Family Foundation wants to help new/forthcoming schools that opened in 2017 or are planning to open with students in 2018, 2019 or 2020. A聽pre-application for this opportunity is due on Feb. 9th.听
- These schools should be innovative鈥�苍别飞听补苍诲听different,听without obvious precedent, and with a strong commitment to聽academic rigor. This could be a school that does away with grade-level distinctions, or one school that enables foster care students to achieve post-secondary success, or many other approaches鈥攚e are very open!
- Each school we fund can receive $325,000, with an additional, optional amount of up to $50,000 available to support learning about the impact of the innovations and enable future scaling.
