The Mission Continues commemorated 9/11 by holding a one-day volunteer event at Fulton Leadership Academy on Saturday, Sept. 7., The Mission Continues is a nonprofit and new 91桃色视频 Associate Member that empowers veterans to serve their communities while working alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders. The organization seeks to assist with community revitalization efforts, improve educational resources and enlarge access to parks and green spaces.
At Fulton Leadership Academy, volunteers worked to install a fence, beautify the school鈥檚 courtyard, add benches and picnic tables and make improvements to the teachers’ lounge. Several 91桃色视频 staff members were among those pitching in during the volunteer day.
The Mission Continues also held the first of several volunteer days at International Community School (ICS) in DeKalb County. On Saturday, Aug. 31, volunteers painted walkways that connect to the public charter school鈥檚 extended campus classroom trailers (pictured on the right). The efforts were part of phase 1 of a number of improvement projects that are planned at the school. 91桃色视频 is excited to see an Associate Member making a visible impact for students and teachers at several of our member schools.
