Georgia Charter Schools Association is pleased to announce that Ryan Mahoney聽is joining its board of directors. Ryan Mahoney serves as Senior Director of Regional Advocacy for ExcelinEd, 
where he leads development and execution of initiatives and outreach across the Southeast. He previously served as Vice President of the Georgia Chamber, leading the organization鈥檚 policy initiatives in education, health care, transportation and other areas.
Before joining the Chamber, Ryan was an award-winning political reporter for the聽Atlanta Business Chronicle聽and a commentator on聽The Georgia Gang聽on Fox 5 Atlanta. A Florida native, Ryan is a proud graduate of The University of the South, Leadership Cobb and the Institute for Educational Leadership. He was the founding board chairman of the Georgia Cyber Academy, the largest public school in Georgia.
