Required Financial TrainingÌýOffered at Conference

Attention *New* Board Members
Ìý
Who: Ìý Board members of locally approved schools who have served less
Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý Ìý than one year and have not received financial governance training
Ìý
What: ÌýRequired Financial Governance Training
Ìý
When: March 15, 2017, 2:30 – 5:30pm
Ìý
Where: Galleria Specialty Mall, 2450 Galleria Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30339.
The exact training room assignment will be sent to participants two weeks in
advance.

This session will be facilitated by the Georgia Department of Education, Office of Finance and Budget. The presenters are Ted Beck, GaDOE Chief Financial Officer, and State Board of Education Member Larry Winter.
Ìý
The cost for this session is $100 per participant for member schools. For non-member schools, the fee is $230 per participant. If you register forÌýbothÌýdays of the 2017 Georgia Charter Schools Conference, this session is included at no extra charge.ÌýPayment is due prior to training. GSCA will invoice your school.Ìý This class is limited to 75 participants.

Existing / veteran charter board members are also welcome to attend this session at the same rate noted above.

Please note: Even if you are registered for the conference, you still must register for the Financial Governance Training. Sign upÌý.
