Georgia Charter Schools Association’s Board of Directors is excited to welcome three new members – Dr. Kim Harrington, Chief of Staff and Associate Vice President for Special Initiatives at the Georgia Institute of Technology; Christopher T. Sanders, Executive Director of East Metro CID and Jessica Story, Senior Manager at Warren Averett.
Harrington will serve on 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Board Governance and School Success committees; Sanders will join 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Policy and Advocacy and Finance committees and Story will serve on 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Advocacy and Policy and Finance Committees.
Meanwhile, two longtime members of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Board of Directors have completed their terms of service – Cynthia Kuhlman, Director of Educational Achievement for the CF Foundation and S. Gordon Moore Jr., Executive Director of Student Diversity and Inclusion at the Georgia Institute of Technology. 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ is grateful for their commitment and expertise. During their tenures, both served three two-year terms. Kuhlman co-chaired 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Advocacy and Policy Committee and served as a member of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Board Governance and Finance committees. Moore chaired 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Board Governance Committee and was a member of 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s Executive review committee. As they leave 91ÌÒÉ«ÊÓÆµ, Kuhlman is joining the board of Purpose Built Schools Atlanta and Moore will become a board member at Charles R. Drew Charter School, where Kuhlman serves as a member and former co-chair.
