Anthony Burrell, an award-winning creative director, choreographer聽and actor, spoke to students at 
Westside Atlanta Charter School on Tuesday, Oct. 30. Burell shared his personal success story and gave students further insight into what it takes to get into and make it in the entertainment industry. Fourth through sixth-grade students at Westside were given the opportunity to participate in an interactive dance demonstration.
Burrell聽dedicates himself to dance education and Philanthropy as the Founder and Director of聽鈥淏reaking Barriers Summer Dance Intensive鈥澛燼nd聽鈥淧roject AB.鈥� He continues to work towards creating a legacy in entertainment, arts and education.聽聽
Burrell鈥檚 accomplishments include playing a crucial creative role on E! Entertainment for 鈥淢ariah鈥檚 World,鈥� 鈥淢ariah Carey鈥檚 Vegas Residency 1 to Infinity,鈥� 鈥淪weet Sweet Fantasy Tour,鈥� 鈥淯n-Silent Night Christmas,鈥� and 鈥淎ll I Want for Christmas at the Beacon Theater.鈥� He was on the creative team for 鈥淏eyonce鈥檚 Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show,鈥� 鈥淢TV Music Awards (2016),鈥� 鈥淐ountry Music Awards (2016),鈥� 鈥淭he Formation World Tour,鈥� and numerous videos. Burrell has received an MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography in Beyonce鈥檚 鈥淔ormation.鈥�
