A teacher that not only taught the curriculum but nurtured them by creating an environment that allowed them to grow in their education and life in general, says the Spring Creek parent who nominated Mrs. Donalson. 鈥淪he is that teacher for many students. She cares about them. As a pre-K teacher, she sets the tone for their education and instills a love for learning from day Anyone can stand in front of others and teach them something, but it takes a teacher like Jayme Donalson to make learning fun, to be totally invested in her students, and to keep parents involved. Children are an excellent judge in character. If you were to group her former and current students together, you would hear nothing but words of respect, admiration, and love for Mrs. Donalson. For all of these reasons and so many more, she deserves to be recognized.
Mrs. Donalson ensures all of her students receive all of the support they need whether in person or distance learning. This is nothing new to her as it didn鈥檛 take COVID-19 for her to exhibit all of those qualities. She is an amazing example of how children learn through play. She is constantly changing her classroom to keep her students learning something new every day.鈥�
