Timothy Patterson is a fifth and sixth grade English Language Arts teacher at Tybee Island Maritime Academy. Mr. Patterson was nominated by multiple parents who describe him as an engaging educator who supports and challenges students in classroom.
鈥淏oth of my children have had the pleasure of having Mr. P for 5th grade. They both enjoyed going to school while they had him and they both say he is their favorite teacher,鈥� says a Tybee Island Maritime Academy parent.
鈥淢r. P is always available if we have questions or concerns. His support the last couple years has been amazing. We’ll miss him!鈥�
鈥淢r. Patterson goes above and beyond for his students by making them feel comfortable and confident in and out of the classroom. He is constantly challenging his students to use the best of their abilities in a fun way that keeps students engaged and excited to return to his classroom each day,鈥� says another Tybee Island Maritime Academy parent.
鈥淗e 聽has been extremely supportive in-person and during distance learning by always being available to help his students not only with learning assignments, but with issues beyond the classroom as well.鈥�
