I was fortunate to have the influence of Ben Jakes to help guide me and graduate from a system that was not graduate friendly. Ben Jakes always spoke life and positivity. I cant even put into words of how great of a man he was. I’m not rich or the most successful person in life but to even get the little I have, I give credit to Ben Jakes for taking time out his life to help the youth. Ben Jakes will be missed and is a true example of what ever man should aspire to be. I will always remember his great spirit and kindness. Ben befriended me and inspired me to want more in life, I feel so sadden and hurt by his death but like his wife said just be the best you to honor him. This article written by Dr. Roberts just proves that he touched many life’s and I will always love Ben Jakes for his God sent spirit.
